Those unforgettable lines spoken by Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz reveal a story-telling device found in an overwhelming number of our most enduring stories from the likes of Star Wars to The Lion King. It’s known as “the hero’s journey.” In brief: an ordinary person is living an ordinary life when an extraordinary adventure is presented. The character leaves home and travels to a different world where tests and trials await, as well as mentors and villains. If she or he passes the tests and proves heroic, then the final stage is returning home with stories to tell and wisdom gained. The last piece is crucial.
Stories to tell and wisdom gained are precisely the results of our ongoing 360° Nation Handshakes & Hugs (“H2”) travel around the world over a number of years, particularly since the pandemic created a level of isolation never-before encountered. Every magical hug and handshake along the way has allowed us to touch souls in ways not possible in a virtual world.
The message of the impact of being on purpose, fearlessly and passionately, comes full circle back in many ways.
Trevor and I have been included in his 100 list of "Points of Light" - people who are part of a global connection inspiring, uplifting and empowering others.
Trevor and Eileen are two of the most recognized people in the First Coast music scene and they are both two of the most down to earth people you will ever meet. For a couple who just loved listening to great live music, they have turned that passion into a business that gives music fans a great experience, helps bands get bookings, allows venue owners peace of mind that when they deal with the Bilds they aren't going to take a hit in the pocket AND.... gives guys like me GREAT subject matter to write about!

I wanted to share this. Trevor Bild and Eileen Bild have shot the videos on my website. Because of their work, the videos have constantly kept me busy. My clients always rave about how professional they are. I can't thank these 2 enough. It all started with them doing a photo shoot some years ago, which turned into a live remote video , which turned into a series of videos including videos of original songs from my new album On The Shoulders of Giants. They make you feel at ease and the time spent with them goes by so quickly.Thank you for also including me in this presentation.
